Are you a Dietitian who would love to work in a supportive and flexible environment? Do you seek career progression and an opportunity to develop skills in areas that would not normally be available to you?

As a small friendly Trust, we can do just that! Our Dietetics department currently has a number of exciting opportunities which promise not only a rewarding and fulfilling career but the chance to join an amazing team lead by supportive and passionate peers who truly want to see you thrive.

A role within Dietetics represents an opportunity to make a real difference to the healthcare of our patients. Our Dietitians play a vital role working with patients suffering acute and chronic illness both in hospital and out in the community. Each ward has an allocated dietician responsible to that area and is critical to the care of patients requiring intravenous nutrition, feeding tubes and other complex needs. Our community dietitians serve a wide range of patients including those with complex needs, through to gestational diabetes, rehabilitation medicine services and oncology services.

When joining our team you are safe in the knowledge that your potential is our passion and we have fantastic training and career progression opportunities, including an excellent Preceptorship Program for our Post Graduates and Clinical Expert training for those wishing to specialise. Better still, making sure you feel valued and supported in your role is our top priority; we recognise that delivering excellent patient care starts with staff who feel valued, engaged and respected.

So, if you are looking to join an amazing work family, gain new skills and competencies that would not normally be available to you in other settings and work with a level of autonomy that offers both challenge and reward, then we want to hear from you.

The Area

Junior Doctor - Northern Lincolnshire and Goole HNS Foundation TrustThe North Lincolnshire district is a mixed industrial and rural community. In addition to the main centres of Grimsby and Scunthorpe the area has many picturesque market towns and villages, including Brigg and Barton which are small market towns concerned with light industries and agriculture. The remaining population is in a mainly farming rural area which extends into the attractive Ancholme Valley and the gently sloping hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds, which have been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty, with extensive beaches along the coastal strip. These make North Lincolnshire the ideal destination for walkers and cyclists.

Educational facilities in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole, and the surrounding area of Lincolnshire, are of a high standard. The house prices in the area are amongst the lowest in the UK. There is a wealth of cultural and sporting activities in the district suitable for most needs. This includes a marina at South Ferriby for sailing in the Humber Estuary, and a number of well-regarded golf clubs.
