We don’t believe for one second that once you qualify, that’s it. We know that a career in nursing is a life-long journey of development, progression and learning. And as such, we strive to support you with our dedicated Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Team.
The Trust has an innovative preceptorship programme including getting hands-on experience in a safe environment to ensure we deliver high quality care for our patients.
There are a wide range of continuous professional development opportunities available both internally and throughout the universities across Yorkshire and Humber with opportunities to progress into new advanced practice roles.
We also deliver the NHS Improving Quality training programme in-house for employees interested in developing their service improvement skills. The practical sessions are spread across seven months and give people the know-how to design and implement more efficient and productive services. The course has been designed to help both clinical and operational staff across the NHS deliver the quality agenda and aims to boost organisational improvement capability and capacity.
